Limner Press, a letterpress printing company, is operated by artist, Wendy Shaft and third generation printer, Don Bixler. The press publishes the Wendy Shaft Block Printed Images line of cards, journals and albums, which was started in Anchorage, Alaska. Until Limner Press relocated east of Lansing in Williamston, Michigan, social stationery was a “word of mouth” part of the business. After moving, Limner Press added emphasis to custom letterpress printed wedding invitations, baby announcements and other social stationery due to a larger population and greater demand.  Wendy and Don are proud to continue the tradition of artisan printing.
